Patterns

This week we have been busy extending our knowledge of patterns. From making patterns with different noises to colours, shapes, gender and a small competition, we have had a lot of fun! 

Here are just a few pictures of us in action!

In the end, a couple of groups realized if they put all of their shapes together, they could make the longest pattern! Within minutes, they were out the door and on their way to the Kindergarten classrooms! 

This was fantastic teamwork! 

During Literacy Centres, a couple of students made connections by also creating patterns alongside their playdough words.
